The Kitchen Staff is responsible for executing processes in the kitchen by using various cooking techniques and methods to prepare meals to meet customers’ expectations. The Kitchen Staff is someone versatile enough to do every little bit of everything in the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking and handling multiple orders without compromising food quality.

A Del Union Kitchen Staff is someone energetic, organized and responsible with preparation, cooking, and storage of food in the kitchen in accordance with food health and safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

The Kitchen Staff is empowered to pursue the following objectives:

  • Preparing and cooking high quality meals and food items according to company recipes
  • Responsible for preparing, assembling, and storage of ingredients for menu items
  • Monitoring of supplies and managing inventory of items in the kitchen
  • Assisting team members to ensure food orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Ensuring kitchen equipment, tools and packaging are clean and sanitized to follow sanitary standards
  • Proper storage of food to avoid spoilage
  • Recommends improvements by keeping abreast of relevant trends and practices in the industry
  • Actively builds the camaraderie in the team with their personal cultural contribution
  • Ambassadorship of the Del Union brand
  • Attends trainings and meetings as needed
  • Other tasks may be assigned based on your role
